Tween Tribune!:) Daniel Bessonov; 9 year old swimmer:)

Daniel Bessonov swam from Alcatraz Island to the San Francisco Bay in the horrible waters. This is something prisoners from the Civil War you have loved to do but would have probably died in the extreme waters and rushing waves. Himself and his coach, Jordan Wood, found out it takes 41 minutes to swim the two miles from the island to the shore. It was said that no escape would ever happen because of the treacherous waters.

I think that him being only 9 years old and already accomplishing something that said could never be done is pretty amazing! I mean how many kids to you know that can swim 2 miles in 41 minutes. If I was doing that I would be so scared. No matter how many times I had practiced or tried before. He had to study the currents so he knew what times and what happened then and when would be the bad times and when it would be good. It would take a lot of work to do something that you really wanted to do. It just shows that when you really try hard and work hard on something and put your mind to it you can do anything. He is a true inspiration.

Leaving a Digital Footprint:)

When someone sees your blog you would want them to think good things about you. You don’t to set out a bad example of yourself. In order to do that you can put good things about yourself. Don’t put up pictures that you wouldn’t want your family or someone close to you to see. Don’t write things that are not good or offensive. Keep things that are personal or bad to yourself. When you are looking for a job and you have pictures on Facebook or some other website and they are of you drinking or partying they may think that you are not responsible. They might not hire you just for that reason. Anyone could see those and think a million different things about who you are when really you are totally different but were just caught up in the moment. Also other good ways to leave a digital footprint is to always have the spelling correct. Don’t just put random words that don’t make sense and then say you got it from a website. Make sure what you have is all the right information and not gibberish! You wouldn’t want to make yourself look bad and foolish. 🙂

Just remember these few things and you will leave a wonderful digital footprint about yourself!:)

Challenge #8!:)) Foo shoo!

For Challenge 7 I decided to do the second one. Blogging has made my day at school a lot more fun and interesting. I love to look at other people’s blogs around the world and see what they do and how they have fun and just learning new things about them. It is really cool to be able to interact with them and communicate in the new technology. I love it! And just during the day I am always thinking about what we have to blog about that day or the next day. I think its really awesome that we have a chance to do this and not have to worry about anything. At home I am always wanting to be able to talk about stuff on the computer but never really had a chance to besides Facebook and email. This I like because I enjoy discussing different topics and trying to help others understand what I think and learning what they think. I think it has made being a teacher simpler. I know that they still have to help us with getting to things and when we have problems. But this way they don’t have to be in front of the class for 20 minutes talking about something that we will all probably forget by tomorrow.:) It has been a lot fun just talking to people and having conversations and yeah I really like it! Edublogs has helped me learn a lot in just one class period. So many things I had no idea and now I can do easily! To make things easier maybe more explaining and pictures or videos on how to do it. I’m the kind of person that needs to be shown what to do and can’t just be told. 🙂

Thats why I love blogging because I can just express myself and be me!

My Favorite Movies!:) & My Least Favorite Movies..

My favorite movies!:)MV5BMTQ2NDg4MDU3NF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMjg5Njc1Mg@@._V1._SX214_CR0,0,214,314_

My Sisters Keeper

I love My Sisters Keeper because it is very heart-touching. I love the family feeling. It is also very inspiring. Everything that one girl goes through and she has a smile on her face everyday. It makes me think about how sometimes when I think I am having a bad day about who she was feeling. I love that movie so much! It makes cry every time I see it!

Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump is the kind of movie that everyone loves the first time the see it! It is very funny! I love the part where he is running and these bullies are chasing him and Jenny yells “Run, Forrest, Run!” And he just keeps on trucking! Its pretty amazing how he ran when he had never ran before. He is awesome! MV5BMTgzMzUyMTQ4MF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTYwMzE1MjE5._V1._SY314_CR2,0,214,314_Hangover

The Hangover is a goooood movie! It has really funny comedy. There is so many lines from that movie that people all around the world know just because they are funny and they stick in your mind for a long time. They do so many dumb things make no sense but are just funny!

MV5BMTU1MDA1MTYwMF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMDcxMzA1Mg@@._V1._SX214_CR0,0,214,314_Alice in Wonderland 3D

Alice in Wonderland in 3D is a really good movie! The effects it has are really real! Especially in 3D. The one part when Alice fell down the hole it looks like you are falling too and the sticks and stones are falling on you. The characters are really fun and Johnny Depp can really act and he had a really funny costume!

The House Bunny

The House Bunny is a hilarious movie! The people in it have super funny characters. They are always making me laugh! Like the Hangover there is a lot of lines that people remember and don’t forget. There is so many things that they do in the movie that are funny but still have a meaning and have a point to them! It is actually a really good movie.

My least Favorite Movies…

High School Musical

This movie had no point. All these kids are just running around and yelling and dancing and singing! No high school does that! It seriously has no point.

The Boy in Striped Pajamas

That movie just makes me mad. The boy dies at the end! What kind of movie had that kind of ending!

Happy Feet

Happy Feet just doesn’t make sense to me.

The Sound of Music

I just don’t like that movie.

This movie isn’t good what so ever.

A normal school day:)

A normal school day is pretty fun-filled and energetic!

School starts at 8:05. The first bell rings at 7:55. We have 10 minutes in the morning to get to our first period class. The second bell rings at 8:00, which means we have 5 more mintues left. The third bell is at 8:05 which is the tardy bell. My mom usually drives me to school from our house. Our classes are about 48 minutes each. We get out of school at 3:25 Monday through Thursday. On Fridays we get out at 2:00 because the teachers have meetings. There are a lot of choices we can have. But we all must have science, english, civics, and math for the whole year. Also one that we all have to have is P.E., but we only take that for one semester, not the whole year. Some choices of what we want to do is drama, careers, 21st century living, industrial technology, and challenge. There is 8 periods all together. Sports that we have are football, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, track, and cross country. They all have their seasons though.

That is an usual day at our school. :)) What are you school days like?

Challenge #6 :))

I commented about her candy. I really like the sour patch kids candy just like her.:) It’s funny how some people freak out when something is really sour but I love it!:)

He was talking about his volleyball team and how they won in his tournament. And since my volleyball season just got done I was asking him about how many games they had and just things about volleyball.

This person wrote about their favorite songs. They liked Just the way you are by Bruno Mars, Two is Better than One by Boys like Girls with Taylor Swift and I like it by Enrique Inglesias.  I really like all those songs. They are all on my iPod:)
